Several years back, Providence-based scooter shop and coffee house Javaspeed decided to start bottling their own line of sodas, and they asked me to come up with the labels. They already had a truly fantastic logo, so that was a start. I based the labels on oil and lubricant packaging, a well-known quantity to any owner of a two-stroke vehicle. We had a lot of fun coming up with the flavor names and taglines…my favorite remains “Two Stroke Lemonade Self-Mix: Premix alcohol for off road use”.
