This one is special. It was my first real Boston illustration hire, brought my way by a wonderful friend and fellow musician named Jon Johnson. This one little poster job opened so many doors for me, both as a musician and as an artist and designer… it was a major turning point and a total joy to work on. I have a print hanging in my studio, and every time I look at it, I get a chuckle recalling how the club booker asked, very politely, if I might “cover her giant bazongas with something…anything!”… hence the 2004 banner! Artistic collaboration is a wonderful thing.
